Holy Grail is a collaborative initiative undertaken by a group of students in Singapore to compile a repository of notes and practice papers to support fellow students in their academic journey.
The aim of this project is to reduce the gap in resources between students and level the playing field for everyone on a national scale.
The project was initiated due to the absence of a suitable platform to store and access these educational resources.
Initially stored in a collaborative Google Drive, a web application has since been developed to store and retrieve them much more conveniently and to make it more accessible, which is what you're seeing here now!
You can access the resources uploaded at the Library above this section. Anyone is able to freely access these resources even without having an account.
You can upload the notes that you want to share over here. Do note that you can only upload PDF files and you will need an account to start uploading your notes. They will only be available to the public after approval.
Yes. Every note, practice paper and school answer sheet in the library is free, and that will never change. Nothing that is free today will ever move behind a paywall.
There is also an optional paid side for students who want more. Premium and credit packs add extra generated practice on top of the free weekly allowance every account gets, and Premium opens every answer sheet by Holy Grail, which is extra material we write for O and A Level maths and science papers. Free accounts can open the first worked question on each of those sheets.
Hosting and development are paid for by advertisements shown to free accounts, together with Premium subscriptions, passes, credit packs and No ads supporters. Premium members and PSLE pass holders see no advertisements anywhere on the site, and No ads supporters see no Google ads or sponsor banner.
Premium is S$15 a month. You get 5 practice papers and 50 practice questions every week instead of the free 1 paper and 5 questions, an exam-format print with a cover page and page numbers, every answer sheet by Holy Grail for O and A Level maths and science papers, and no advertisements anywhere. Everything free stays included. Premium also unlocks every Test yourself card on O and A Level notes.
Prefer not to subscribe? You can pay once for a 1, 3, 6 or 12 month pass with the same benefits. The 3 month pass covers a full exam season, from prelims to your last paper. See the pricing page for details.
Many O and A Level notes now end with a short set of cards that Holy Grail made from that note: multiple choice questions that check your answer, and flip cards you mark yourself. Notes with a card set show 3 cards free, signed in or not. Premium, by subscription or pass, unlocks the rest of the set, 8 to 20 cards a note. The note itself always stays free. AI writes and checks the cards, so if one looks wrong, tap Report a problem on the card and we will look at it.
Credits are a pay-once way to generate more practice. 1 credit generates 1 question, and 10 credits make a full mock paper. They are only spent after your weekly allowance is used up, they work with or without Premium, and they never expire. Packs start at S$3.
Payments run through a secure Stripe checkout with card or PayNow QR. We never see your card details.
A subscription can be cancelled anytime from your account page, and you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for. Passes and credit packs are one-time payments, so there is nothing to cancel.
Email us at team@shukud.ai with your username and roughly when you paid. A real person looks at every case.
Practice papers are drawn at random from a bank of questions that an AI captured from real past papers, plus questions AI wrote in the same style (about a third of the bank overall, and more than two thirds in some subjects). Worked answers come from the papers' mark schemes where we have them, and from AI where we do not, so they can be wrong. Nothing is set in advance: each paper is drawn fresh, so questions can repeat between papers and between people. Generating papers uses a free weekly allowance that every account gets.
Yes. On the practice page choose Pick my own topics, tick any mix of topics in the subject, and set how many questions you want from each, from 1 to 10. If the same two topics keep costing you marks, build a paper that is only those two topics and drill it. Every draw is fresh, so you can make a new mix whenever you like. Topical questions have their own weekly allowance, 5 a week on a free account and 50 on Premium, and credits cover anything beyond that.
Every account prints two free PSLE papers a week, for Mathematics and Science. The PSLE pass lifts that to ten papers a week and switches off every advertisement on the site for one month, paid once by card or PayNow. Buy another month later and it starts when the current one ends. Credits still work for PSLE papers at 10 credits a paper after the weekly ones.
Premium is the O Level practice plan and does not include PSLE papers. See the PSLE page for the pass.
For GCE O Level and A Level maths and science exam papers that come without the school's answers, Holy Grail writes its own answer sheet with a worked solution and a suggested mark split for each part we can check. The solutions are written by AI and checked against a second independent solution, and a part can still be wrong. School answer sheets uploaded with a paper stay free for everyone. Premium unlocks every answer sheet by Holy Grail, with a PDF. Free accounts can open the first worked question on each paper. Answer sheets by Holy Grail cover GCE O Level and A Level exam papers in Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology only, including the combined sciences and H1, H2 and H3. Other subjects and levels are not supported. They are not official SEAB, Cambridge or school mark schemes.
No ads is a way to support Holy Grail for S$3. It turns off Google ads and the sponsor banner while you are signed in, and your S$3 helps keep our servers running.
You can support monthly, or for one month at a time. A one-month payment never renews, and another month adds on to the end. No ads adds no practice papers or credits, and Holy Grail's own tips about Premium still show. Ads come back when you sign out or use another browser, because No ads follows your account.
