Developed countries all over the world are ageing and Singapore is no exception. With advanced healthcare, it means that more Singaporeans will be living longer with chronic conditions. The ageing population will increase the healthcare needs of the nation significantly, and Singapore has to be prepared well in advance to meet these needs.
