Method 1 Student A uses a micrometer screw gauge to measure the widest part of the marble. The reading is 10.92 mm. Method 2 Student B uses a pair of vernier callipers to measure widest part across 3 mutually perpendicular axis of one marble. The average of the 3 readings is 10.1 mm. .
