How can Physical Education lessons be beneficial to students? *Students are only required to present the benefits of PE lessons. ● Physical Education lessons help students to keep fit and healthy. -PE lessons provide students with the time to exercise regularly despite busy schedules. -Physically demanding activities (running, NAPFA test stations etc) help to burn excess calories and inculcate the good habit of regular exercise. ● Physical Education lessons enable students to relax/unwind/destress through exercise and games. -PE lessons give students a break from the monotony of classroom lessons. -Gives students an opportunity to move around and get their heart pumping. -Exercise during PE lessons re leases endorphins and students feel happier and more positive. ● Physical Education lessons expose students to new sports that they would otherwise not have tried on their own. -Variety of sports modules incorporated into the PE syllabus -Students get to learn various types of sports that they might otherwise never have tried (give examples: tchoukball, volleyball etc) ● Physical Education lessons teach students the importance of working well in a team/ persevering when learning new sports. -In many of the activities carried out or sports played during PE lessons, students are expected to work in groups or teams. -This helps to build students’ ability to work well in groups and even learn to manage group conflicts. -Working in a team would also require students to learn to communicate effectively with their team mates to prevent any misunderstanding.

Expository 2. In what ways has the Internet impacted our communication positively? Examiner’s Comments: Students should structure the ir essay into three paragraphs with each paragraph stating the merits of the Internet on communication. Students could talk about social media (eg. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.) and the benefits of staying in touch. Some benefits would include, ⮚ Allows real-time/ ‘live’ messaging where both parties can communicate across time-zones and across the globe. ⮚ ‘Live’ updates/ status can be posted on the various feeds/ profile where friends and families can view the updates at their own convenience to see how others are doing and what they are doing on a daily basis. ⮚ Memories/ moments that commemorates or marks a special occasion (eg.
