EVIDENCE - Quote from the poem. - Advised not to quote a lot (try to keep it to less than 10 words) - Pick out main ideas + literary devices to unpack ANALYSIS - Unpack the more striking words - For Example: “I should not have sat on the fence” The phrase ‘sitting on the fence’ shows that the speaker was being indecisive and tried to avoid the decision rather than facing it wholeheartedly. Moreover, the phrase “should not have” shows the speaker’s regret in not making a decision. LINK - Reinstate your POINT, but add on with a summary of your analysis
