In the neighbourhood, AEDs can be found at the void deck of some housing blocks and they are used to deliver electrical shock to restore normal heartbeat during sudden cardiac arrest. On a weekday from 1pm to 4pm, the students used a close-ended questionnaire survey to collect the views of residents staying at 4 housing blocks in a neighbourhood. At each block, they surveyed one resident from every unit on the 2nd, 5th, 8th and 11th floor (top floor). They measured the residents’ readiness using a range of indicators. Respondents were asked to rate each readiness indicator using a score of 1 to 10, where 1 indicated a very low level and 10 indicated a very high level. 3
