The popular use of personal mobility devices (PMDs) such as e-scooters in recent years has become a growing menace in Singapore. Users of these PMDs tout the benefits of this mode of transportation as being convenient, environme nt-friendly and cost - effective. As of July 2019, more than 85,000 e -scooters and 13,000 e-bikes have been registered
