Social Linkway ● Linkways provide sheltered and convenient access, linking blocks to other parts of the estates such as transport, neighbourhood shops, other precincts and town centres. ● Seats or exhibits will be added to the linkways to encourage people to linger when they meet a neighbour. Community Garden ● A place for residents to bond through a shared love for gardening. ● Residents will receive free seeds of edible plants (e.g Kangkong and Chinese Spinach) and learn planting tips and techniques through live demonstrations. ● Beautify and add vibrancy to the community space. Let’s Build Our Playground Together! ● 3-Generation family playground catering to the play and exercise needs of the elderly, adults and children. ● Thematic playground that encourage active and imaginative play and exploration among children. ● Residents can help co -create their estate’s unique playground.

Three ideas for the facility have been shortlisted and posted on the Town Council website. Before making the final decision, the management has invited any residents who would like to express their preference to write an email to explain their views. Write an email to your Town Council to explain your views. In it you should explain: ● which facility you like best and why ● in what ways this facility would benefit you personally ● how this facility would benefit the whole neighbourhood ● how this facility would strengthen community spirit and improve the well-being of residents.
