Highlighting a woman’s caregiving responsibilities at home as a key contributing factor to the pay gap, President Halimah Yacob said at the open address of the Institute of Policy Studies Women’s Conference: “The need to take time from work lead to lag in work experience and career progression, and consequently earning.
