The evidence that you select to support your impressions of Grandma can come from any part of the novel. You should refer to past learning materials about the characterisation of the monster as well as Conor to guide you as you complete this character sheet. Due date: Term 3 Week 1 (1st Lit Lesson) CHARACTER SHEET: GRANDMA Impression 1: Grandma is very conscious about cleanliness. Evidence (Quote from text. Remember to keep quotes short and focused.) Analysis (Jot down some thoughts, in point form, about how the chosen evidence proves Impression 1 of Grandma) • "His grandma's house was cleaner than his mum's hospital room" • She kept her room very neat and tidy • Her room did not have any dirt or stains • ."Conor wasn't allowed in there at any time,lest he smudge the upholstery somehow" • Grandma was very scared that Conor would smudge her upholstery and make it dirty. • "His grandma would wake up first thing in the morning to hoover, did laundry four times a week, and once cleaned the bath at midnight before going to bed." • She did not mind cleaning the bath at midnight, showing that she cared a lot about cleanliness. • She did not want her clothes to be dirty thus she did laundry four times a week, in order to keep the laundry clean.
