3 WSSS PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION 2020 / Sec 4E5N / P1 Section B [30 marks] You are advised to write between 250 and 350 words for this section. Question 2 You should look at the website in the Insert carefully and plan your answer before beginning to write. You have been offered the opportunity to gain some overseas school experience as part of the Overseas School Exchange Programme. There are three options for your programme. You have decided to apply for one of them. Write a letter of application saying which one interests you, and why you think you are suitable for the particular school programme. Write the letter to the Programme Coordinator of your school. In it you should explain: the school programme which interests you and why your current skills and abilities that would give you an edge over other applicants how you think you will benefit from the experience. You may add any other details you think will be helpful. Write your letter in clear and accurate English. Your tone should be polite and persuasive to convince the Programme Coordinator that you are suitable for the programme. You should use your own words as much as possible. [Turn over
