Different students learn in different ways, and AI can explain the same concept using examples, diagrams or simpler language. For example, when I was studying the Vietnam War, I used ChatGPT to understand how the Cold War influenced the conflict. It helped me connect several ideas that I previously found confusing. Secondly, AI makes research more efficient. Instead of spending a long time searching through websites, students can use AI to identify relevant sources and summarise key information. This allows them to spend more time analysing and learning rather than simply gathering information. However, students should not blindly trust AI. AI can occasionally provide inaccurate information, so it is important to verify facts using reliable sources. In addition, students should avoid becoming overly dependent on AI, as critical thinking and problem-solving skills can only be developed through self-practice. Overall, I believe AI is a valuable educational tool, but it should only be to support learning rather than replace it. Question: How might AI change the jobs available in the future? I believe AI will significantly change the jobs available in the future. Some jobs may disappear, while others will evolve or even be created. Firstly, jobs involving large amounts of data analysis and prediction are likely to become increasingly automated. For example, accountants, financial analysts and certain administrative workers perform tasks that AI can complete quickly and accurately. We have already seen AI outperform humans in specialised fields. AlphaFold, an AI developed for protein structure prediction, achieved breakthroughs that accelerated biological research. As AI becomes more advanced, companies may rely on it for many routine tasks. However, I do not think AI will simply replace all workers. Instead, many jobs will change. Teachers, for instance, may use AI to prepare lessons and mark assignments, but students still need human guidance, encouragement and emotional support. Similarly, doctors may use AI to analyse scans, but patients often want a human professional to explain treatment options and make important decisions. Furthermore, AI may create entirely new careers. In the past, the rise of the internet created jobs such as app developers and social media managers. Likewise, AI could create new roles involving AI training, supervision and ethics. Overall, I believe AI will transform the job market. Although some jobs may disappear, many will evolve, and new opportunities will emerge for people who can work alongside AI.

Question:How can young people reduce environmental damage? Everyone agrees youths are framed as the leaders of tomorrow; indeed, I believe that youths should be taking actions to remedy the mistakes of our predecessors. Personally, even the smallest actions coalesce to become a significant change. Firstly, the biggest step the youths can take is by practising waste management. Youths can learn how to reduce waste output through eschewing the reliance on single-use commodities, such as straws. For instance, when buying a drink at the nearby coffee shop, youths ought to be encouraged to decline the use of straws. Additionally, youths can practise proper recycling. Our government has placed considerable emphasis upon the necessity of diligent recycling, particularly amidst the burgeoning misuse of the recycling receptacles. Youths as leaders, must exemplify model citizens to bolster our government’s endeavours in reducing Singapore’s ecological footprint. Furthermore, youths can also spearhead communal efforts to increase environmental awareness. Youths can convene to orchestrate initiatives that promote recycling and waste management through activities, while illuminating the profound impact trivial daily habits exert upon our environment. In essence, today’s progeny serves as the fundamental architects of our future; thus, we must unite to combat our collective ecological footprint on this Earth. Question: Is social media beneficial for teenagers? Social media has become the key amalgamation of all the opinions and thoughts of our society. Not only has social media transformed the way we portray our opinions, it has also drastically altered our consumption of media. I believe that social media is beneficial for teenagers to grow more holistically. Social media acts as a crucible wherein teenagers can prepare for the rigours of maturity. The contemporary landscape, filled with geopolitical strifes and industrial rivalry, may appear utterly bewildering to the youth. Thus, social media acts as a training ground, enabling them to navigate the complexity and refine the discernment required for adult life. For example, teenagers can learn about the political events in America through social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube. Additionally, social media can act as the catalyst for many aspiring artists. Amidst a sea of immense talent, securing prominence would be a formidable; initiating an artistic career would have been quite insurmountable were it not for social media. Through social media, artist can showcase their masterpieces, garnering international patronage and much-coveted acclaim. For example, independent animators such as GooseWorkz, ascended to prominence via these very channels.

Nevertheless, every rose possesses its thorns, and social media is fraught with conspicuous flaws. It actively fosters a deleterious consumer culture, whereby influencers flaunt excessive consumption or opulent luxuries. Moreover, social media has birthed ‘brainrot’-- a deluge of trivialities that erodes critical intellect. Additionally, some of the information on the platforms are fabricated. Nonetheless, such content may be readily circumvented through algorithmic filters. In conclusion, social media offers significant benefits to the youth; its merit lies solely in the discretion of its application. Question: What causes stress among students today?
