Figure 1A shows the temper ature of the London Heat Is land effect in mid-May. Figure 1B shows the processes contributin g to the Urban Heat Island effect in a city. (a) With reference to Figure 1A, describe the changes in temperatures from the city centre to the periphery. [2] (b) With reference to Figur e 1B, identify and explain THREE conditions in the urban area that could have led to such temperature differences between the urban and rural areas.
