[20] SECTION B – Development, Economy and Environment Answer one question from this section. 3 (a) Explain the relationship between population and resources, with reference to the various theories. [12] (b) ‘Transboundary water conflicts are ma inly due to the perception that water is a common property.’ Discuss. [20] 4 (a) Explain the considerations when assigning ownership of water resources in countries with different levels of development. [12] (b) Assess the role of non-state actors in their ability to alleviate the negative impacts of transnational corporations (TNCs). [20]
