Resource 2 shows a fluvial landform in the humid tropics. Resource 3 shows a photograph of a delta .. Resource 4 shows the sizes of sediments along a tropical river channel at three different locations. (a) Describe the characteristics of Kolkata’s climate as shown in Resource 1. [6] (b) With reference to Resource 2, explain how the fluvial landform was formed. [6] (c) Describe the features of the delta shown in Resource 3. [4] (d) Explain the favourable conditions that may lead to the formation of deltas such as the one shown in Resource 3. [6] (e) Compare the sediment sizes at the three locations along a tropical river channel as shown in Resource 4. [4] (f) Explain two reasons why the sediment size s in a river channel might vary at different locations. [4] Section B Answer either question 2 or question 3.
