Come to the Ceramic Culture of China By Xymus 4H2 (2020) Do you love learning about the rich history and culture of ancient civilisations? Do you get excited at the prospect of experiencing these antiquated traditions first-hand? Do you just want a relaxing and engaging holiday to get away from it all? Well, then your next trip might just have to be to Shaanxi province in the heart of China! Xi’an, the capital city of Shaanxi, is a hidden gem in the most populated city in the world! Its most prominent feature is by far the Terracotta Army, discovered in 1974 by Chinese farmers! I for one have always wanted to immerse myself in this rich and ancient culture, and to have the opportunity to see this vast array of earthenware soldiers would truly be something special. An impressive display of ancient Chinese masonry and artistic design, the Terracotta Army of Shaanxi is a worthy addition to any aspiring traveler’s bucket list. While impressive, Xi'an's terracotta army is not the only thing worth visiting and appreciating. No, the capital of Shaanxi has far more to offer in terms of monuments. Renowned for its spectacularly breathtaking views, the bell tower of Xi’an has always been a sight I’ve wanted to behold. With absolutely stunning architecture and a history and legend to boot, the bell tower of Xi’an cements itself as another impressive part of Shaanxi province worth visiting. Phew! After all this sightseeing and adventure, anyone would be exhausted. Thankfully, Xi’an is renowned for its impeccable hospitality and looking for a good place to rest and relax is as easy as ABC. Indulge yourself in scrumptious Chinese delights and enjoy a nice hot cup of Chinese tea prepared the same way it was thousands of years ago. With all that Xi’an has to offer -- from its rich history and stunning visuals to its immaculate accommodation and charming cuisine -- it really does feel like a destination of unending surprises and absolute delights. I really hope you will consider it as your next holiday. I know I certainly am! Comments: 1. Good use of questions involving ‘You’ to draw in the readers with an engaging tone 2. Use of sentence variety (long and short ones; different beginnings) to create a lively tone 3. Use of simile (‘easy as ABC’), list of three, alliteration (repetition of C in Headline) for effect 4. Apt and wide vocabulary used Edited by LSF
