Paragraph 2- BODY – Reasons and objectives and: This paragraph states reason why the writer wants to organise this campaign and states the objectives of the Earth Day campaign In support of Earth Day, the Eco-friendly Society is keen to start an Earth Day campaign on our very own school grounds to help students and teachers be more aware of the green movement and to translate this awareness into action and a change in behaviour. We would like to propose two interesting activities to meet these objectives. Sentence Variety:Use of prepositional phrase at the start of a sentence “In support of…” to show why the campaign was started. Paragraph 3- BODY – suggest first activity and elaborate using the 5W1H Point – suggest who it will involve, what kind of activity and when it will take place Firstly, we propose to engage (who)students and teachers in a (what)simple activity that is environmentally friendly on (when)22 April 2013, Earth Day itself. This should be something they would normally not do. For example, (how) students who are staying within walking distance of the school could walk to school instead of taking the bus. Students who would normally buy plastic-wrapped takeaway food could instead bring their own lunch packed in a reusable container.
